About Ivo and Krissie
Ivo (14) and Krissie (16) live with their adoptive mother in Sofia.
The two siblings are very different – but they are deeply connected and support each other. While Ivo needs intensive developmental support, Krissie struggles with serious health issues. Their mother does everything she can – but without outside help, it’s not enough.
Our Story
We are Ivo and Krissie, brother and sister. We live with our mum in Sofia. She works as an interviewer for a market research company and studies psychology on the side – she is strong, but often at her limit.
Ivo has significant developmental delays. He needs special education, art therapy with clay, and music therapy – but we cannot afford them. Krissie suffers from psychogenic seizures and urgently needs psychotherapeutic support.
We don’t wish for much:
Ivo hopes to one day have friends – and maybe even drive a car.
Krissie wants to finish school and study medicine.
